Since 2001, we help to develop, empower and effectively use the (sometimes hidden) potential of individuals, teams, and leaders—both in the Netherlands and internationally.

Our work is carried out by Marcella Bos and Aart Bos, individually or as a duo, often collaborating with other inspiring professionals. Always aiming for "the match that works."

At Bos Matchworks, we design, organize, and guide programs for teams, leaders, and organizations. Our roles include being an advisor, program leader, organizer, coach and trainer. Our work often occurs in the context of transformation and innovation, frequently within cross-cultural settings.

We are committed to contribute to a fair, inclusive and sustainable world for everyone. Through our work, we advise, develop, and continually learn as:

About us

Marcella Bos (1963) grew up as the eldest daughter in a home furnishing company. As a professional she guides entrepreneurial individuals and teams in realizing their dreams and ambitions. Marcella is the co-author of the book Events & Beleven (2008) and The Power of Entrepreneurial Daughters (2023).

'Team dynamics and leadership always fascinated me. Professionally, as a team member and team leader in banking, journalism, education, and healthcare. Personally, as a team member, leader, and board member in volleyball sports and in social and cultural organizations.

In 2001 I started Bos Matchworks; a company focused on creating experience oriented programs for personal growth and team ambitions. I am an independent thinker with a can-do mentality and a connector who thrives on mutual trust and respect. With a lot of positive energy I enjoy to stimulate and guide people to achieve their personal and team ambitions.

My aim is to contribute to a sustainable future for everyone, anywhere in the world. A future that is loving, inclusive, positive, and full of opportunities for our children, grandchildren, and the planet we inhabit.

I feel very blessed with my ‘MAGICL’ family and I love playing with our grandchildren. My mom has made more than 90 trips around the sun and I love her company and flexible mind.

Over the past fifteen years I was privileged to organize and facilitate impactful international programs for Bos Matchworks and MasterPeace in a wide range of formats like the MasterPeaceWalks in Maasai Land, Kenya and Nepal; Great Minds Stakeholder Meetings in various countries and development programs on leadership and cross-cultural collaboration. On occasion it brought Aart and me in the same event and I look forward to our joined activities from 2025 onwards.’

Aart Bos (1959) has been shaped as a professional since 1979. Starting as a financial manager, CFO of software organizations, and later CEO of a Dutch multimedia company in the mid-1990s. He then transitioned to consultancy, working with management and employees to achieve transformations that resulted in more than only financial benefits. For twelve years, he led a consultancy business focused on strategy, leadership, and ICT innovation.

‘As a young footballer, I always played for the win, and for the third half, because beer simply tastes better after a victory. The goal is friendship, trust, and the joy of life. Winning is merely a means to an end.

At the start of this century, I contributed to the founding of the “Foundation for Natural Leadership” because I was, and still am, convinced that society needs new leadership: more integral and human, without losing sight of the economic perspective. Today this is even more relevant.

In 2012, I decided to dedicate more than 100% of my talents to creating impact. The Peace movement MasterPeace Foundation was a unique opportunity to use my management and leadership experience to support youth in more than 40 countries. Learning from cultures, translating visions into action, and facilitating young people to take ownership of their future, does not feel like work - it is following my passion.

I act based on abundance and a vision that there are 8 billion talents in the world. I am genuinely interested in all people - what they seek, know, and can achieve. And I am driven to contribute to a beautiful and sustainable world.

After twelve years, in 2024, I handed over my responsibilities as CEO of MasterPeace.

Together with Marcella, I continue to stimulate and support personal leadership and team development. As a coach and as a member of advisory boards in India, Burundi, and Cameroon, and as a Strategy Development Advisor at the International Sport Alliance (ISA-Youth).’
